On 11th December, Yerbol Karashukov, the governor of Janbuhr Oblast, visited CWPC together with Altyshev Yerken, the chairman of Safaa Energy and his delegation. Yerbol Karashukov, the governor of Janbuhr Oblast, Artyshev Yerken, the head of the Ministry of Energy, Housing and Public Services, and Tian Ye, the chairman and general manager of Safaa Energy Company, visited CWPC. Accompanied by Xie Zhiwei, Vice President of CWPC, the delegation toured the company's exhibition hall, production facilities, and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects they have invested in, constructed, and are operating. These include the first phase of the Eastern New Town Ecological Demonstration Zone and the CWPC’S Comprehensive Bonded Zone project. The visit provided the delegation with a comprehensive understanding of the company's production and operational status as well as its technological innovation capabilities.
 

During the symposium, Chairman Li Renchao extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Janbuhr Oblast and provided a detailed introduction to CWPC's cutting-edge technological capabilities in the fields of new energy and environmental protection, as well as its extensive global presence. He emphasized that CWPC places great importance on the Kazakhstani market and has successfully conducted business in nearly 60 countries and regions worldwide. The company aims to leverage its comprehensive strengths to offer the Janbuhr Oblast government holistic and systematic solutions in the areas of renewable energy (wind, solar, and hydro), energy conservation, and waste-to-energy. Together, they aspire to create exemplary green projects in Central Asia and beyond, injecting new momentum into the local socio-economic development. Following this, Jiang Congmin, the company's Technical Director, presented CWPC's diversified projects in Kazakhstan, including photovoltaic power generation, biomass power generation, waste-to-energy, energy storage, gas turbines, and clean energy power generation. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions.

Tian Ye, Chairman and General Manager of Safaa Energy, expressed strong confidence in the prospects of cooperation with CWPC. He stated that Safaa Energy is highly optimistic about CWPC's professional expertise and market potential in the new energy sector. He believes that the three parties can fully leverage their respective strengths to achieve resource sharing and mutual benefits, jointly promoting the green transformation and sustainable development of the energy sector in Kazakhstan.

Altyshev Yerken, the head of the Energy, Housing, and Public Services Department of the Janbuhr Oblast Government in Kazakhstan, affirmed the comprehensive strength of CWPC, praising its large scale and strong capabilities, and particularly optimistic about the development of new energy. He pointed out that Janbuhr Oblast prefecture has abundant wind and solar resources, and the content of trilateral cooperation is rich. He sincerely invites CWPC to visit Kazakhstan for inspection. He has high hopes for the future development of the tripartite cooperation project and promises to fully support the implementation of the project, create favorable conditions, assist in obtaining information, organizing meetings, and reporting policies to ensure the smooth progress and success of the project.

Yerbol Karashukov, the Governor of Janbuhr Oblast, stated that Kazakhstan, as the world's largest landlocked country, shares close geographical and cultural ties with China and plays a significant role in the Belt and Road Initiative, being the birthplace of this initiative. Janbuhr Oblast has created favorable conditions for the construction of solar, wind, and hydroelectric power stations, attracting more investments. Currently, there are 22 renewable energy projects in operation in Zhambyl Region, with a total installed capacity of 571.3 megawatts. Additionally, plans are in place to increase the number of renewable energy projects to 25 by 2028, with a power generation capacity of 2,500 megawatts. He expressed his hope that the three parties would jointly advance the 120-megawatt gas turbine cogeneration project in Taraz City, and assured that the Janbuhr Oblast government would fully support the project to ensure smooth investment. He also emphasized the unwavering commitment to strengthening China-Kazakhstan cooperation in new energy, promoting friendly relations between the two sides, jointly addressing global energy challenges, and contributing to the achievement of the 2060 "carbon neutrality" goal.

Afterwards, representatives of Janbuhr Oblast Government, CWPC and Safaa Energy signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the development of renewable energy (wind, solar and hydro), energy efficiency and waste-to-energy related projects on the territory of Kazakhstan.
